Weigert - Tiziano Stainer Kit for Tiziano, Ultra-Compact Special Stainer The kit supplies reagents for Trichrome Van Gieson staining to detect connective tissue. The connective tissue is highlighted with Picrofuchsin, a solution obtained using the mixture of two stains: acid fuchsin composed by big molecules that highlight and penetrate the collagen fiber; and picric acid composed by little molecules able to stain collagen and muscle fibers, cytoplasm and erythrocytes. Nuclei counterstaining is possible using Weigert hematoxylin.
