Tepelen

Tepelen is a high-quality polyethylene (PE) material, which has been sucessfully used for orthopedic purposes for many years. With its especially balanced material properties Tepelen is a well suited material for a multitude of orthopedic applications. For example, Tepelen only shrinks very little during processing, and will thus result in work pieces with an optimum fit (e.g. corsets and orthoses). In addition, it can be vacuum formed with a very even wall thickness, therefore guaranteeing maximum stability. Tepelen can easily be told apart from other PE materials by the fact that it is matte on one side and glossy on the other side. Depending on the desired application and look of the workpiece, either the matte or the glossy side can be used on the outside. Tepelen satisfies all expectations you may have of a high-quality PE material, it is easy to work with and physiologically harmless.
